Hi! As Christian Education Director, it's my job to provide classes for children, youth and adults, to recruit and train teachers, to coordinate and oversee special events like Vacation Bible School, to promote the United Methodist camping program and to see to the day-to-day tasks that help our education program run smoothly. Sundays at 9:15 are a busy place around here! A walk through our education wing shows the enthusiasm and dedication of our staff and the enjoyment of the children. The youth are engaged in a variety of activities like mission projects or class discussions. Adults are watching Christian videos, discussing current issues, doing Bible study, leading children's singing and practicing in the sanctuary choir. Join us and be a part of the excitement! As Music Director of First United Methodist Church, I oversee a multitude of exciting musical activities throughout the church. On Wednesday evenings music abounds in the church with bells ringing in the sanctuary to the choir singing in the lounge. Sunday mornings bring all the various groups together to praise God through music. And what better way to express our faith! We always welcome new members in our musical groups. Come join us!
